I started Botetourt Community Church in 1998 and have been serving here with my wife, Susan, ever since. It has been a joy serving as Pastor and Elder of this church. My prayer is that those who come to the church are encouraged in their faith and find community to grow in the Lord with. 

I love ministering to our young people, and have been doing so since 2019. I enjoy learning more about what they are encountering in their own lives. It is a joy to take those situations and then point young people to how Scripture speaks into those issues. It is my desire that youth group serves as an opportunity to create a firm foundation of faith in Jesus Christ. With that firmly established faith, it is our prayer that they then go out into the world to serve Him, and proclaim Him to others.

 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms, if it were not so, would I have told you I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”
